Microsoft warns of IE7 lock-in with XP SP3If you've been thinking about updating to XP SP3, stop to consider. The "bonus" of updating is locking you into IE7, if you already have it installed. Should you need to roll back to IE 6, for example to do some testing, you'll be out of luck.
Also, there's a warning for those of us who have installed the beta of IE8. It seems that there's a possibility of "instability problems."
I'm soooo sure this has nothing to do with the fact that the numbers for IE7 have been, to put it mildly, unimpressive.
Not sure about you, but this does not leave me feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Troubles in Microsoft Live landFrom the article:
"Microsoft is planning to fight the Southern California company over the Live naming, claiming that Live is a term of "common connotation."
Oh, but windows, access, word, etc. aren't. Un-huh. Right. Sure thing.
Man, this stuff cracks me up!
