5 Free Ways to Connect With Other Dog People
Spring is just around the corner. Wouldn't it be fun to find some new people for you and your dog to hang out with? Yep, I thought so!
To get you started, here are 5 online ways to get the ball rolling - all of them are free!:
- MyDogSpace - MyDogSpace is an online community that includes pictures, videos, blogs, and forums where people share stories about their dogs and swap information.
- Dogchannel.com - This site, sponsored by the folks who bring us Dog Fancy magazine
as well as many other pet-related magazines, welcomes readers of the magazine and all other dog lovers. The boards are filled with stories and helpful advice.
- Dog.community - is a place to share photos, videos, and stories of your dog with others.
- Meetup.com - You've probably heard about Meetup.com as a site for people to connect, but it also has a large number of members looking for dog playdates! Well worth a look!
- Dogster.com - is a great place to find other dog lovers and get answers, recommendations, and advice; find local pet businesses; and share photos, stories, and videos. You can also keep a diary for your pet there.
Get out there, make friends and play!
This is Bailey - a female, black and white cockapoo, and my furry little roommate. The information posted here are things I've learned and/or found in my quest to keep my pup happy and healthy. I hope you find something helpful or interesting here!
