Halloween Tips For Dog Lovers
Soon goblins, witches, wizards, princesses, and assorted ghouls will be making their way to your doorstep. Here are some tips to help your dog join the fun!
- Be Prepared! - Many of our visitors on the big night bring their dogs along, so I always keep a bowl of dog biscuits in various sizes and flavors handy. That way, no matter what size pup comes along, we have something tasty for them too!
- Dress up! - You'll find some great costumes here: Halloween Costumes for your Dogs at Drs. Foster & Smith. Valid through 10.31.07
And don't forget to take pictures; DoggieDeliveries.com is hosting its second annual Dog Halloween Photo Contest!
- Stay Safe! - Bailey loves to see the kids, but I know some children are not comfortable around dogs. So I put up the Exercise Pen 8-Panel (24" W x 36" H)
. This lets Bailey see the kids, but a) I don't have to worry about her slipping out b) no kids are scared. Also take a look at these tip: Keeping your Pet Safe on Halloween
This is Bailey - a female, black and white cockapoo, and my furry little roommate. The information posted here are things I've learned and/or found in my quest to keep my pup happy and healthy. I hope you find something helpful or interesting here!
