Turbo Tax Users Beware
Not-so-long-ago-and-far-away I used Turbo Tax to get me through tax season. After reading about all the high jinx that Inuit is up to these days, I'm extra pleased that I have an accountant to take care of things! [Hi Ira!]
Before you blow this off as unimportant...one of the "little problems" people have run into is having their hard drive wiped when they try to install Turbo Tax. Yep, the problems are big ones, so tread carefully.

As mentioned in the article, I am a web developer. If you need to put anything on the web: a promotional site that tells the world about your products and/or services, a tool that your employees or customers can use, training materials, surveys, want help setting up your own blog, anything at all - drop me a line, I'd love to help you out.

Happy Birthday XML!
February 10, 1998 Extensible Markup Language (XML) was first published as a W3C recommendation. Gee, it seems like only yesterday... ;-)

Macromedia DevNet
Macromedia has started a subscription plan aimed at developers that use several, or all, of their web development toolkit. The plan includes software updates (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Freehand, HomeSite, and Coldfusion. Windows users also get Contribute.), Resource Kits, and Tech Support. Upgrades from currently owned products are available. As much as I dislike the general move toward software subscriptions, this is one I'll probably pony up for. I use, ok, love to use, all the Macromedia tools, and this will probably really save me some money in the long run. I hope so!

Spring Training — When Everything is Possible
Sure it's cold out, there's snow on the ground, and everyone has the flu. But on Tuesday, pitchers and catchers report. A sure sign that Spring is on the way!

New York Yankees logo - 26 World ChampionshipsDavid Wells, the true embodiment of Yankee Spirit. Plus Derek and Joe, of course. But we're talking pitching here!
