How Did This Happen?
According to the NY Times, on Nov 1 Bush took away our right to information. So in today's America, the government has taken away our rights to privacy and locked us out of tracking what they do. Is this what we're fighting for?

It's Here. I Don't Know Why, But It Is.
Netscape Communicator - 4.79 - yes, NN 6 has been available for a while now. And it works. So why did they release a version 4 update? Beats me. But if you want, you can get it here:

EU votes to ban cookies
If this gets ratified, will be interesting to watch. Right now, it seems that, without a way to enforce them, these web "laws" are not very meaningful. But I guess time will tell, right?
