The Real Problem With Online Shopping...
isn't the shopping, or the credit card info over the web issues, it's getting the stuff delivered! Somehow it has escaped the notice of FedEx, Airborne etc. that, since most people - esp those who shop online - work for a living and can't sit around all day waiting for delivery!

Well, it seems someone is starting to "get it" in the UK. Please, oh please, let this catch on in the US. SOON!!!

Things That Make You Go Huh?
Twice in 2 days I've seen a Bradlees tracker trailer truck on the NJ Turnpike. If that driver is looking for a Bradlees store to make a delivery, he's going to be on the road for a long, long time...

This was my horoscope for today:
"Someone you work with may be trying to undermine you. Be reticent about your intentions and goals to avoid opposition. You will experience delays and unavoidable problems while traveling."

I wish I had checked it before I left the house. Of course, I guess I would have had to suddenly started believing in it too. But still... ;-)

This is NOT "Getting Back to Normal"
The "Safety and Security Polices" for Fall Comdex 2001 state that no bags or laptops will be allowed on the show floor. Ridiculous! Why not just ban people and get it over with...

Don't Think AOL is Sneaky?

Evhead sounded the warning on this one for me
- something (NN 6.x? AIM?) inserted "free.aol.com" into E browser's 'Trusted Zone" on my system WITHOUT ASKING FOR PERMISSION!! To check your system, open IE, select Tools, Internet Options, Security, Trusted Sites. To remove the entry: select it and hit the Delete button in the window.

Hide Your Wallet!
Seems that Microsoft was forced to shut down its Wallet service last Thursday after being notified of a security vulnerability.
