Hello, and Welcome...
I am a product designer/software engineer by trade, with a strong focus on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) standards, usability, and accessibility. Basically, this means I solve business problems - usually followed by designing software applications to meet the needs identified- mapping existing processes to identify areas for improvement AND ensure any changes/additions won't break anything up for downstream, work out how and where to add new functionality, design new processes, create wireframes/comps/prototypes (html +sccs & css) for the front end, etc. But to be totally honest, deep down, I'm a geek. I love this stuff, can't find enough hours in the day to play with all the cool toys and tech that I want to try out. It's my job and my hobby and I love it.
Not sure what a Product Designer does? Don't be embarrassed, you're not alone! Here are some articles that do a great job of explaining it:
So, this site is my playground. This is where I try out new ideas, spout off about what I'm thinking and doing, and test out new coding techniques before I use them on a client's site.
Feel free to wander around.
